Cota Projects

Dance empowers, opens up space for innovative impulses, and sets change in motion: Cota projects stands for choreography, outreach, teaching, and artistic research. COTA projects was founded in Mannheim in 2025 by Julie Pécard and Jonas Frey as a platform for creation and cooperation. They come from the fields of ballet and breaking and are internationally renowned in dance, choreography, and dance education. Their motivation: to promote and strengthen the individual and social significance of contemporary forms of movement:
“Dance as a social practice strengthens identity, overcomes boundaries and initiates change.”
